Here are some of my favourite links. Hope you enjoy them!
(They should all open out in a new explorer window)
The BugShop
If you own an aircooled Beetle, you have to visit here! It details the complete
restoration of a '57 Oval to immaculate condition and also has probabally the
best aircooled VW technical reference guide out there. These pages cover many
aspects of VWs, including advice for the first time buyer, identifying different
years of Beetles, etc. Well worth a look!
The Fweematorium
A great website explaining the most unique sound of air-cooled Volkswagens -
the Fweem
Pre67VW
Another of my very favourite sites! Very informative and extremely well designed
and made. Visit the 'Feature Cars' section and you can see a feature of my very
own '66!!

'66 Bug
About Steve's 1966 low-mileage Beetle - also with loads of pictures and tips
on the restoration, including fixing many tricky rust spots like the corroded
roof gutter. Well worth a visit - especially if you are restoring a rusty Beetle

RAMVA - rec.autos.makers.vw.aircooled
(Usenet Group)
If you own or are mad about air-cooled Volkswagens, then a subscription to this
newsgroup is a MUST!
Volkszone Forums
Based in the United Kingdom, this forum extremely good and is highly recommended
- you can often see me there under the nickname "Howard66". If you
own an aircooled VW and you live in the UK (or elsewhere!), you should look
here
Aircooled
Accessories
A great site! Three genuine VW accessory brochures dating from the early 1970's
scanned-in - VERY interesting reading! There is even an original EMPI brochure!
If you like VW accessories (like I do!) then you'll love this site!
Gregory's Beetle Site
Read about Gregory's 1966 customised Beetle. His website also has a great picture
gallery of many different Volkswagens

Jose's
'64 VW Beetle Convertible
Details the immaculate restoration of a '64 Karmann Cabriolet. Includes good
details of replacing rusty floorpans
Kombi Klassics
This is the company who carried out the welding and resprayed my car. I highly
recommend their work, and if you live in the Dorset area of England, and need
some restoration work doing, pay them a visit!
Tom's
'66 Beetle Resto
This is about the renovation of a car almost identical to mine, but was a bit
more rusty! Lots of pictures. The site hasn't been updated for a long time,
but it's still worth a visit
Vaughan's
'67 Aussie Beetle
A great website from "down under" detailing Vaughan's '67 Aussie spec
daily driver Beetle. Lots of nice pictures showing the renovation of this Beetle
to enable it to be a realiable daily driver.
